WHAT WE BUILD
Steel Structures for Every Need.

Tubular Steel
The most versatile metal building on the market. Carports, barns, garages, shops, and ag structures — customizable in width (up to 60′ wide), length, leg height, roof style, and finish. Available in three roof styles with upgrade options for gauge, insulation, and certification.

Red Iron / Commercial
Larger spans, heavier loads, commercial-grade construction — warehouses, large shops, commercial facilities, and clear-span buildings. Engineer-certified available.

Barndominiums
Part home. Part workshop. All yours. We build the full steel structure so you can bring your vision to life — camp house, ranch headquarters, or full-time residence with a shop attached.
Certified vs. Non-Certified Buildings
A certified metal building has been professionally engineered to meet minimum wind and snow load ratings. Most areas that require a building permit also require certification — and some states mandate it regardless of permit status.
Certified buildings include additional braces, fasteners, and anchors. They come with engineered drawings and are built to a higher structural standard. Whether or not certification is required in your area, it’s the stronger choice — and one that comes with real peace of mind.
If your location doesn’t require certification, a non-certified structure is still a solid steel building. We’ll help you understand what applies to your site before you order.
SITE PREPARATION
Before We Build — Here’s What You Need to Know
A smooth install starts before we ever show up. Here’s how to get your site ready.

Choose Your Foundation
Concrete, asphalt, gravel, or ground — the right foundation depends on your site conditions and intended use.

Clear & Level the Ground
Remove vegetation, debris, and any barriers from the installation area. The ground must be level before the crew arrives.

Check Permits & Local Codes
Contact your county building department before you order. Requirements vary by location and structure type.

Confirm Your Location
Make sure your chosen spot has enough clearance, room for a delivery truck, and long-term suitability for the structure.

Remove All Barriers
The crew needs clear access on install day. Barriers or blocked access can result in delays or rescheduling fees.
OUR STORY
Get to Know Owl Metal Buildings
Corey Hollier grew up working alongside his father in the foundation and concrete business in Southeast Texas — so when a colleague noticed his instinct for client relationships and brought him into the metal building industry, it was a natural fit. He built his expertise running quotes, designing buildings and managing projects across 14 states before founding Owl Metal Buildings with one goal: to keep it personal. Every project runs through him directly, start to finish. When he’s not working, you’ll find him and his wife Brittany out enjoying nature or traveling the world.

When we talked, he went over all the options and the way I wanted the building and he shared a link so I could see a virtual mock-up of it before anything was finalized.
